This is scared little ben who came to us after being in the kennels for three weeks.he is now being fostered in machen and is with eight other dogs. He was handed in by his owner because he had a tendency to give a nip. We have found him to be a real little character. He is a joy to take out and loves to play with a ball and go swimming. His recall is very good and he always stays close, he is also very friendly with all the other dogs he meets. Ben is no lap dog though! He does not always want to be fussed over or cuddled so we would recommend that he is not homed with children.
Ben travels well in the car and adapts easily to new situations . We recently took him to our caravan for the weekend and he was very well behaved and also showed no interest in the livestock on the farm.
Ben will make a lovely companion for someone that understands his temperament, possibly an experienced terrier owner. We think he could be homed with or without other dogs.
If you would like to offer Ben a home please take a moment to read our adoption procedures before you download our adoption form. Once completed please e-mail it to [email protected]. If you have problems downloading the form, please just email us. Adoptions will be subject to a satisfactory homecheck and a minimum donation.
