In recent weeks Billy Bob has amazed and delighted us. His confidence is growing and he has made huge leaps forward. He is still really cautious around men but he will come out and meet people so long as he has made sure he has an escape route back if he needs it.
By being calm and allowing him to call the shots he is gradually realising that he can trust people again. It's a real thrill to see him now in our garden. A few weeks ago he picked up a toy for the first time and he loves playing now. Everything he picks up goes straight under the hedge but when he realised we couldn't reach them and continue the game, they soon started appearing back on the grass again.
He's always loved other dogs and he has great fun playing with our other fosters.
Then this week - a bark! Billy Bob has not made a single sound since he came to us in August. Our puppy mumsie, Gaby, raised a bark out of him and he regularly makes his voice heard when they play.
This handsome lad will continue to gain confidence with us before we consider any move for him and so he is not yet up for adoption
