Daffy is a medium sized 8 month old (approx.) female Beagle crossbreed with an extra large personality.
She is full of playful energy and has so much love to give. She enjoys going for walks, playing with other dogs, chasing balls and playing tug of war. She gets very excited about walks and can be strong on the lead but is learning to walk nicely with a figure 8 lead.
Her recall progressing slowly and she can be distracted by other dogs. She is toilet trained with only the occasional accident in the house. She settles well in her crate at night but does like to be with people during the day or she gets a bit stressed. She will sit on command and is learning good manners.
Daffy is very affectionate and loves nothing more than a kiss and a cuddle with everyone. She shows playful interest in cats/small animals but is not aggressive. She gets on very well with other friendly dogs but can be a little defensive around her food so needs to be fed separately. She would be better suited to a home with older children (8+) as she can get quite excitable.
Still being a pup, she will chew so she would initially need to be kept under supervision. She can be left for a few hours in her crate but she would be happier with someone who was around most of the day. Her new family would need to be able to provide lots of attention, training and walks.
Can you give this adorable lady a forever home?
