My friend Paul is opening his new surgery on 12th August. He may be a friend, but that's not why I recommend him. He is a brilliant vet, when my 16 year old JRT needed difficult dental work, I travelled to Salisbury so Paul could do it as I have the utmost faith in him. My dog recovered so well and had fabulous care.
He is so gentle and lovely with the animals and loves to explain to owners why he is taking the course of treatment that he does. He has taught me a lot over the years!
He is having an Open Day this Saturday 10th August between 11.30 - 3pm to show people his new surgery (which he is very proud of!) and have a chat and nibbles. He has invited Four Paws, so Elaine is manning an information stand for us.
There will be opening offers, and also special offers for the first 100 people to register with him.
The surgery is in what was the Waterloo Pub in Sebastopol and is totally refurbished.
The surgery is called Goshen Veterinary Centre
Address: Avondale Road, Sebastopol, NP4 5EL

We all had a brilliant day yesterday at Goshen Vets Open Day! We were kept very busy with loads of people coming to have a look around and register their pets. People even came from Salisbury and Birmingham from the practices that Paul worked in.
Elaine was kept busy on the Four Paws table and we had a lot of interest. Paul had bought a big jar of sweets and gave it to us to do a Guess the Amount of Sweets in the jar. We also had the Lucky Dips for dogs which went down very well.
Loads of people brought their dogs which was great and the star of the day was Morse! Chris and John were there, but John didn't know Morse was coming, it was quite emotional when they met (unfortunately Chris and I were in the building when John first set eyes on Morse, but Mark took some lovely photos of the moment :cloud9:
There were a few other FP dogs including one of Sinead's pups who is a very handsome lad who only lives up the road from the vet's. I had spoken to them previously, but we didn't realise we were both FP's people!
The total for Four Paws was £70.30 which was mainly from donations. Elaine was also talking to one of the staff's mum who said she would ask if we could do bag packing in M&S Cwmbran as other charities do.
So all in all, a very, very successful day.
