Nice to see Creed with his funky new bandage - and it looks like he is settling in well!
He was such a sweetheart when I dropped him off yesterday and went straight to bed and made himself a home.
Great he is having a foster home now :-) Look forward to his blog... :-)

Diary of a Foster Dog named Creed
I was a bit nervous and shy when I first arrived into my new foster home but after some treats and a nice bed and a bit of TLC started to feel very at home.
I’ve got a bad foot at the mo so it was a trip to the vets for a new bandage. All I kept hearing was ‘good boy’ because I didn’t cause a fuss at all and just let the vet do her thing! My foot is getting better every day.
I loved my ride in the car, I was up front but just sat quietly until it was time to get out.
I’ve been on a few walks (complete with waterproof bags over my bandage) and it was all very nice and relaxing. I saw a couple of seagulls but was told not to chase them so I didn’t. I also met some friends en route but remembered my manners so only said hello.
I’m well house trained, had to wake my foster carer (FC) up last night (on the sofa) to let me out. I try to sneak a cuddle on the sofa but I’m told I’m not allowed up there so I settle for a chest rub on the floor instead. I wait patiently for my food but do tend to make trill-type noises when humans are eating, if that fails then its the puppy-dog-eyes and failing that the dodgy paw comes up too for the sympathy vote :o
After 24hrs I’m feeling a lot more relaxed. I was happy sleeping in my crate at night, didn't hear a peep out of me apart from my snoring, and take myself off there regularly for a kip as I slowly stop being so clingy every time my FC moves. All I want to do is please angel.gif.
I’m just patiently waiting for my FOREVER HOME, anyone? Please.

I'm back :shy:
I've had a busy time with my foster carer (FC), we went to the dog show on Monday and I loved it, a little shy but I still mingled with my mates. I get tired quick quickly at the moment so only stayed for half a day then fell asleep during the car journey home and most of the afternoon.
I went to Cowbridge common today so my FC could test my recall, errrrr, it worked about 90% of the time but when I thought I saw something moving in the grass I had selective hearing! It was only when my FC turned and walked the other way I came bounding back :P. Not sure what I would do if I physically saw another dog etc, might have to romp off and say hello??
I also went for a little walk around the shops which was fun saying hello to everyone but again I get a little nervous when waiting and strangers are around me but I'm getting better!
I think I like nice calm quiet environments as I recuperate from my ordeal as a stray and still trying to restore my faith in humans but I do give the best cuddles and will let you do anything to me without flinching and I never growl.
What else, ummmm, oh yes, went for a walk with Uncle Beau (big hairy Alsatian), he growled at me so I ran away and hid behind my FC. I also met a nine year old child who started making funny high pitch noises and thought this was a game until my FC clocked me and grabbed my collar as I did look like I was going to pounce!!
I like to sleep a lot :-\
....more later guys.

I think he's a little bit in love :) Gorgeous boy, I hope his forever sofa isn't too far away.
-
He adores Helen when you think he has not been in foster long he has settled down so quickly I think you could cuddle him all day he is a lovely boy
-
He certainly loves his cuddles bless him :)
Creed has been put through his paces by a dog trainer recently. He showed such potential and is such an intelligent dog.
His recall was exercised and he quickly started to learn to take less interest in other dogs and focus on his ball and coming back.
His overall interest in everything is good to the point where he sniffs but there is no boisterousness and now it's just a matter of reinforcing what he already does well and making sure he stays well balanced - he just makes a brilliant part of the family/home with very little effort involved so more time for all the joy that comes with owning a dog :D
-
You are so handsome Creed, and sound perfect in every way. :-*
