Title: South Wales Shire Horse Society Show 5th July - Bailey Park Abergavenny

We have secured a stall at this event ;D It will be a brilliant opportunity to raise awareness and funds in this area.
It is the same day as All Creatures Great and Small Open Day in Ponthir, near Cwmbran, which we are also attending. Do we have any volunteers who can help at either event please?

I love the Shire Horse show and would be happy to come and help out.
I'll leave my dog at home though as she just barks at the horses!  :-[

Thank you Julie, Alan and Ruth :) the stall needs to be set up by 9am. Kirsty and Colin are bringing the show stuff for around 8am, I am taking the other show stuff to All Creatures for Elaine, Audrey, Maggie (Chepstow) and Mel to set up, then I am coming to the Shire Horse Show!
Thank you so much to all the FP volunteers, this should be a fab fundraising/FP awareness day ;D

The weather forecast for Abergavenny looks quite decent for Saturday  8)

Any more volunteers will be most welcome - great opportunity to bring any foster dogs to meet and greet 100's of people

its a great family day out - we would love to see you all

A lovely day all round , the sun shone , the people came and lots of interest in fourpaws animal rescue

We all had a brilliant day at the show yesterday :). Our stall was very popular, lots of people interested in what we do and to top it off, the Mayor of Monmouthshire and his wife chose us as the winning trade stand! They spent some time with us and were also interested in the charity, they presented us with a rosette and certificate which we proudly displayed all day  ;D
A huge thanks from Kirsty, Colin and I to Julie and Alan, Ruth, Byron (Kirsty's nephew), Gavin and Kerstin for making the day a great success angel.gif. Thanks also to Kathy and Craig for lending us Solo, he was a total star and great crowd puller :) (thanks for arranging it Kerstin!).  Thanks also to Chris and John for bringing Tessa along (and also my pal Kai), she also received so much attention, she really knew how to play to her fans ;D Tessa was so well behaved and took everything in her stride angel.gif angel.gif.
Pepper the Pekinese also had a good day with much attention and cuddles, she too enjoyed her day out ;D
Well at the end of a very successful and tiring day, we raised a fantastic £303.68. Well done Team Four Paws (Shire Horse Show branch!!).

So a brilliant fund and awareness raising Saturday for FP, two shows in one day ;D
Total for the day from both events is a superb £546.16

Sounds like you had the foster dogs at Abergavenny and we had the forever homed dogs at Cwmbran  :D
