Back in October 2012 we fostered 2 beautiful pups, jayda and Jethro. They we're both stunning and both went to amazing homes.
A few days ago Jethro's family emailed us to say he had been diagnosed with bone cancer and they we're waiting to see the specialist. Today they were told that the cancer was in his leg and if they removed it he should be ok. Sadly, whilst under anaesthetic, Jethro's heart stopped and the surgeons couldn't get it going again :-( x Jethro's family are devastated, as are we.
Run free beautiful boy. You were very loved and had the perfect life with the perfect family.

We had the privilege of adopting Jethro into our family back in October 2012, when he was only a couple of months old. In the unbelievably short time we had with him, he grew from a tiny black bundle of fluff into a handsome young chap who we were proud to call one of the family.
We are all devastated that he is no longer with us and only hope he didn't suffer in his last few days. He gave us nothing but affection and he will always be loved and never forgotten. :'(

So sad & sorry for you all. I know exactly how you are feeling, we went through the same with our Maddy, we had only had her 4 short years & loved her so much, it's such a tough time, but eventually you will start to smile at the happy memories you have of Jethro, they will out weigh the sad ones I promise :)

A small comfort is we have our boy back with us.
-
It is a comfort, I found that. I have my girl in a beautiful, tiny box on my dressing table. I kiss her goodnight every night. I hope you find comfort in having Jethro so close xx

Jethro - You are still in all our hearts.
