Title: Marvin the Magnificent!

Marvin has sadly come back to us after a year in his new home, due to no fault of his own.

He is an American Bulldog X, about 4 years old and is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.  His vaccinations will still be in date from when he went out from Four Paws, but he no longer has a card as he ate it!
Marvin loves people! He loves everyone and loves to cuddle and give very sloppy kisses, he thinks he is a large lap dog and will sit on top of you if he gets the chance!
He is good around food and toys and very good with children.
Marvin does have an issue with other dogs though  - if he has a chance to introduce himself properly he can be fine with some but not others and he tends to react to dogs out and about.  He would therefore, probably be better in a foster home where he is the only dog.  He does not like cats either.
Due to his size he is very strong and does pull a bit on the lead, but walks much better if wearing a harness and he knows his basic commands.

It was heart breaking to see him the picture does not really show how thin he was.  The nurses loved him and he just loved to have a cuddle from you even though he was in so much pain.  I am so sad he has comeback to us.

Am gutted, did a home check and follow up for him and he is such an affectionate boy, just wanted love the whole time I was there. I pray he isn't in kennels too long.

How very, very sad for poor Marvin who looked as if he had given his whole heart in his new home. Never mind, lovely boy. Hopefully there is someone else out there who can mend the hurting bits for all time.

Such a shame  :( I was looking at Marvin as a possible friend for Belle who I gave a forever home to from here several years ago but I don't think it's meant to be...I couldn't walk two strong dogs  :o

So so so sad to see that marvellous Marv has come back to you. We fostered Marvin before he was adopted, and since then we've kept the two puppies that Marvin became friends with while he was with us and also adopted three cats so unfortunately I don't think we will be able to foster him again. But if there is anything else we can do to help this amazing dog, let us know :)

Marvin came out for a run in the paddock today and posed for a few pics!  He says he is really bored in kennels and would love to have a foster/forever home soon please!

Marvin has been fine with other dogs in the kennels as long as they have introduced themselves nicely and are not too forward with him.
