Sadly our gorgeous Amber went to the Bridge on 28th May. We have a gigantic hole in our lives at the moment but she passed very peacefully. We got Amber for a rescue while living in Wales. We were led to believe she only had a few months left but we were so lucky to have her for 3 years. She was such a quiet, trusting and loving dog. The last few months though her mobility was poor and her eyesight deteriorated even more than when we first brought her home, she also had a heart complaint and abdominal swelling.
Run free with Zac our precious girl.

This morning I collected Amber from the vet. I was absolutely dreading it. However it wasn't as bad as I thought. We are fortunate to have a lovely vet practice and all the staff are so kind at these times.
It is actually very comforting to have Amber back home where she belongs. Bless her little heart.

I like to believe that they don't really go away from us, just their "shell" has gone but their spirit remains but it's nice for you that she's back where she belongs with you.xxxxxxxxxxxxx
