It has taken a few days to try and write this as we have been left devastated by the fact we had to say goodbye to Sally on Saturday :(. Her health issues this year just increased to be point at the weekend the Vet advised that they had run out of options as she was not responding well to anything and at the end she was struggling with her breathing so we felt the kindest way was to let her go. The speed of her deterioration has been the hardest as going to the Vets with one issue or another had become a common theme so we were not prepared at all. We have "huge" gap in our life which we are struggling to deal with.
We would like to thank Four Paws for trusting us to take Sally into our care for the last 5 years and to Tracey and Cherry who looked after her before we brought her to Glasgow. We hope she was happy with us as we were with her. We are missing her so much.

So very, very sorry. The longer they stay with you, the more you love them. It must be really hard at the moment. But what a happy, safe, fun life she had with you - and how lucky she was that her people loved her enough to take the toughest decision of all. You did the kindest thing you could for your girl at a huge cost to yourself. My heart goes out to you.

I'm so sorry to read this. Sally had an amazing home with you, it was obvious how happy and loved she was.
Making the right decision at the right time is so hard but it's the last thing we can do for our furbabies to show them how much we love them.
Sending love to you both, run free at the Bridge Sally xx

This is such a heartbreaking time for you and the most difficult decision in the world to make. It is so distressing watching our precious family members struggle . You did the best thing when it was the right time for Sally to go to the Bridge. She will be with the FP furries there free from pain and discomfort.
Remember all the good and funny times you had with Sally and take comfort from that. She will always be with you and gradually these horrible feelings and emotions will fade to be replaced with happier ones. xx
