Sherry has come into foster through no fault of her own.
Sweet lil Sherry has settled in to foster quickly. Don't let her age fool you she is a very lively pooch who knows what she wants and how to get it ;)
Sherry LOVES her food and has to be watched at feeding times or she will eat hers and everyone elses ! She is first & last in the que for treats angel.gif
Sherry travelled well in a crate to the vets and was very well behaved both in the car and at the vets. She did however object to having the vets fingers in her mouth :o She walked well on the lead.
This sweet girl can't get up on the sofa on her own due to her lil legs but makes it quite clear when she wants to get up, she will sit by your feet and talk to you until you lift her up. Once on the sofa she will snuggle into the other dogs bum first until she has found a warm comfy spot. Sherry has no problem going up or down the stairs and often follows who every is going up them, once seen and told to go down she will scarper back down stairs and watch until your not looking then tip toe back up stairs after you.She seems to think this is an awesome game angel.gif
Sherry loves to be brushed and will stand for ages to let you brush her but doesn't like her feet being touched or brushed. She loves to be nursed and fussed.
Sherry sleeps in a crate at night and likes to have the crate open and available for her during the day so she can get some alone time. She likes to have her blanket in the crate as well as the soft dog bed so she can hide her face under the blanket :shy:

Sweet lil Sherry has had her "op" and spent a week in a "collar of shame" which has driven her crazy :(
Today she has had her stitches out and the collar is off & been given a clean bill of health :) she is the happiest lil pooch ever ;D
Sherry is a very loving & active pooch who just wants cuddles and food, any food she doesn't have a preference as long as it's edible she will eat it ::) because she will eat every ones food and eat all day if given the chance food can not be left down all day and she has to be watched at feeding times police.gif
Sherry loves to go for a walk and gets very excited at the sight of a lead ^-^ she will pull at first but after a few minutes she calms down and walks lovely.
As the collar has now been removed Sherry can now have a bath !! I Hope she likes water ...

:) :) :) Aw that's better now your "bucket" is off & you can resume playing without hindrance ;) :-*

Sherry is still waiting for her perfect forever home :)

I really can't understand how this sweetheart is still waiting for her forever family, please don't let her age put you off as she more than likely has a good few years to go as little dogs normally live longer than big dogs, my 4 Yorkies are between 10 & 12, still love life & their walks (about 30 minutes), I love the "oldies" as they've been there/done it/gone through the teenage phase ::), I have 3 yorkies at The Bridge, Buttons (14), Dizzy (16) & of course more recently "Our fundraiser" Lucy who was about 20 when she left us.
