Pepsi came to Four Paws in a messy state, he had obviously been neglected. You can see from his picture that he had not been groomed for a quite a while. He was taken to kennels and while there they cut his fur and as you can see from the difference it has made to him.
Louie was the first to test his sociability, its important to see how he gets on with other dogs. As we pulled up in the car park we could see him inside an outdoor kennel, barking his little head off with the rest. He trotted out of the kennel straight to me for a fuss and all the barking stopped. He was so excited to be out of prison (as Edgar says) and be honest, wouldn't you be. Louie and Pepsi were very happy meeting each other, loads of sniffing and wagging tails (well one tail and one stump).
Pepsi jump in the car and off home we came. He sat in the back seat very quiet looking out the window then he just lay down and went to sleep.
We got home and he was greeted with great excitement from Nelly and Charlie, all he could do was sit still and be sniffed and checked out, its a dog thing, after about 5 minutes it was off out to explore the house and garden.
We gave Pepsi a bath, he was such a good boy, stood still while I soak him and shampoo him, and loved having his back washed his little tail was wagging. I towel dried him and he left the bathroom smelling a lot better. He is just like the other dogs, and shot off round the house rubbing his body all over the carpets.
He enjoys being in the garden he lays on the dog bed and enjoys a bit of sun warming his body. He has also been a very clean boy going outside every time.
Pepsi loves to have a fuss he will roll over for you to rub his belly. He will get up on the sofa for a cutch but mainly he will sleep in his doggie bed. We have tried to leave him to sleep in the living room with Charlie, but he made such a noise barking and whining we brought him up to the bedroom. He is a lot happier about this will he sleep on the dogs bed until about 6am then he wakes me up for wee, he does like to go back upstairs to get on the bed for cuddles. Pepsi hates to be lock in a room on his own.
Pepsi is a very well behaved gentleman most of the time. He turns in to fun police monitor when Nelly and Charlie start to play. He will not stop barking at them until we put Nelly and Charlie in the garden and Pepsi in the living room, he can't see or hear them, If he stays in the kitchen with me he will bark through the patio doors at them.
He is a great dog to walk with he will walk gently on his lead, he does like to stop and sniff the grass, I do have to give him a little tug or we would be still be standing there a hour later. He loves to go over the secure field by our community centre he can go off lead with the rest of the gang and chase the ball or stick. He is excellent with recall and comes back straight way.

Pepsi had a appointment with the vet today for dental treatment. He has had 16 teeth removed that were rotten or lose. He came home had some chicken and rice for tea, the bowl was licked clean. He has been bouncing around with the gang like nothing has happened.
Will update in the next couple of days
