Dog Friendly - Yes
Cat Friendly – Lived with cats previously

Child Friendly – unknown, but 5+ as with our adoption conditions
House Trained – In progress at the moment
Spayed – Not yet
Travel – A bit worried travelling, which I’m sure will improve.
Food – Isnt fussy at all…will eat anything!
Fostered - Caerphilly Area
The minimum adoption donation for Loocie is £150.
Loocie is currently undergoing a 14 day assessment and will be ready for rehoming from 6/11/2015. Applications are welcome during the assessment period.

Loocie arrived with me yesterday, she has come into Four Paws care through no fault of her own. As you can see from the pictures – shes a bit of an allsorts! She came straight into the house and met Dexter and Anna beautifully and has been entirely respectful with them since. She does her best to snuggle up with them…and rather surprisingly both are pretty happy to oblige :)
She spent the first hour or two pacing the house working out what was what before she sat down even once. That was the point she started accepting a fuss from me too, no going back now!! Loocie is INCREDIBLY loving, she will curl up next to you…on your lap…at your feet. She likes to be close and let me tell you her cuddles are fantastic!
Loocie knows sit and paw. Though is very selective whether she does these all the time ;) She takes treats well…and also does her best to steal everyone elses too! Which we are trying our best to stop, poor anna takes her time to nab anything! When we have food she sits near us by the table watching our every move, occasionally swapping sides to see if anyone was feeling weak willed!

We took Loocie out on a walk with Dex and Anna, and met our friends with their dogs Dora (the puggy Jrt cross) and Hugo (Chihuahua) and aside from nearly pulling my arm off (LOL I’m certain this will improve with regular walkies) she was amazing. Entirely gentle meeting the other dogs, and even tried a stint of play with dora! (with my arm still attached!)
She had a nice relaxing evening with us then, before we put them in the kitchen to bed, we heard a few cries then it went quiet. We settled ourselves down to bed ourselves, when we heard a very metallic bang. Sounded like the babygate! We looked at each other and shook our heads…nahh she hasn’t! then came the footsteps up the stairs…And que the “nooo way” from us! We took her back down to the kitchen to keep it consistant. She had, had an accident in the living room, but we cleared it up – no harm done. She got herself out again another 20mins after we went up to bed again. Again, took her down to bed, then she settled for a couple of hours. She did jump out again in the early hours and attempted to sneak in our room, only I sat bolt upright and fightened the life out of her! I told her bed, and she went straight downstairs, I didn’t take her to the kitchen that time…I was trying to cling onto my half asleepness ;) I believe she slept on the sofa for the rest of the night. She definitely slept downstairs. It went a lot better than I thought considering in her last home she slept up in bed with them!
Today she had an early start, and a visit to the V.E.T first thing to start her vaccinations. We originally put her in the boot and attatched her lead to the fastenings, only she managed to climb into the back seat to get closer Lol! But did settle down there, she was very good at the vets and got many admiring glances, and people telling her how beautiful she is. (She really is, no photo I have taken has done her justice!) She cried a little having her vax but was very forgiving and let the vet give her a fuss. We took her for a quick walkie before I went to work and she really enjoyed herself. She even met my work friend as she was making her way home and got a fuss..ironically also Lucy!
She behaved beautifully for Dean, and was left with the run of the house with the other two when he came to pick me up from work. Once home I had a spectacular welcome from all three, she was doing her very bestest pogo hopping! We went straight out for a lovely long walkie up to penallta then, she sat in the back of the car with me and the others and was very good. Loocie still pulled me along…mostly to meet other pooches, she had me spinning when her and a Jrt started a chase game! She really did settle down halfway through the walk. I’m certain we will get her walking beautifully in no time.
She is currently curled up next to Dean on the sofa…will update again on her progress as soon as I can.
