So many beautiful dogs again. :cryblow: Hopefully they will all soon be safe in foster. We would love to take the Husky girl (sorry Leane and Kaz  :hide:) and Kirsty has agreed for us to visit the kennels tomorrow and try her.  If for any reason she is not suitable for our family, we will take whatever is.  Really love the red merle boy. Simon has converted us to collies with the beautiful Beth. :luv:

Aw it's ok. As long as she's safe it doesn matter who has her, and owain probably wouldn't give her up anyway (it's his favorite dog lol). I have my daughters prom tomorrow so I don't really want to bring a new dog Into a stressy house anyway x I hope she gets on well with your boys x I really love the old lurched and brindle small collie type boy too so we'll see what happens x

Thank you. Hope Jade enjoys her prom tomorrow. Bet you will be a very proud mam when you see her all dressed up.

There are so many gorgeous dogs in again this week.  I would happily take any of them.  The Husky was always going to be a winner in our house though.  Owain can come and have cuddles wheneva he likes. x

Thanks Fran, the kids are really excited about meeting her, so I hope it works out.

There are so many gorgeous dogs again, but I agree that the old lurcher boy looks in real need of some home comforts, bless him.

If I thought that he would have coped with Diesel's enthusiasm for fosters, I would have taken him.  I think he would find it all a little too stressful though. Hopefully someone will have space for him soon.

little terriers are so tempting me  ::) ..well all of them are, so many fab looking dogs again, always amazes me how they end up there in the pound! If my life wasnt so hectic at the mo I would offer a space at mine for any of them! be hard to choose which one tho!hope they get lovely foster homes soon, but if any need a short stay while they get sorted, i could do that :)

The poor old Lurcher, has a painful shoulder, he can walk in a straight line ok, but if he twists or moves sideways it really hurts... :weeping:  He also has some sort of sore... I would love him to get out of prison and been fully examined by a vet...... any offers ?

If I can help by taking him out for a walk or to the vet, then just let me know. I've PM'd winterwren for info on him and the airedale. I have a lurcher bitch who has an injured rear foot who we're thinking of getting a playmate for. She's quite a dominant character with other dogs so they would need to meet first to see how they got along.

Stunning Joy is now in foster with me. I love her already!!!! Hopefully all the other poor souls will soon be safe and loved.

Also met the Staffie x bitch. She is super affectionate and if we hadn't arranged to take Joy, we would probably have come home with her. :hide:

Remember Fosterers are  angel.gif  They put the broken back together and prepare them for a new a happy life. When they leave they take a bit of you and leave a bit of them behind.

Whats the oldie lurcher like with other dogs? His injury sounds similar to a lurcher we had in a few months ago. Does he crawl?

The Airdale is still in Kennels but sadly not suitable for cats or children.
The Lurcher boy is now in our care but is in a very sorry state.

He is about the size of a full grown male Collie  ie 23/24 inches at the shoulder...

Is the brindle collie X quite small?  less than 17" at the shoulder?

We're hoping to get the Collie X boy out of the pound tomorrow and into a foster home, so will have more information on him then.  Sorry I can't help more, I haven't met him.  Someone may be along in a bit who has and can answer the size question.

Hello

Donations are always very welcome but this time its a question of space just not being available because of the increase in boarding clients due to holidays.  We're hopeful that we have secured some rescue spaces, should be able to update more in the morning.

Big thank you to everyone for caring so much and for all the suggestions and offers of help
