Daisy’s Story
Daisy is a Beagle crossbreed who is between 3-5 years old and was found wandering herself in a bad way. She is a small dainty girl and weighs around 14kg.
It looks like she had been used for breeding for most of her life but she is a sweet and loving little girl who is very food orientated which helps a lot with her training.
Daisy loves long walks and will happily go anywhere with you, her recall was non existent in the beginning but after some training she can now be let off lead, her hearing can be selective as true to her breed and due to this she loves to find interesting smells.
When home she just likes to be around people so will happily follow you round or cuddle up with you while you relax.
She gets on well with other dogs and would benefit from having another dog at home with her to keep her company. She has been around cats and showed no signs of aggression or chasing.
Daisy has been assessed in her home, she’s a happy, waggy & very responsive dog and will make a lovely addition for some lucky family. We are recommending older children only because she can be quite bouncy and may accidentally knock over younger ones. Typical of the breed, she will need an active home, ideally familiar with Beagles or similar breeds, where she can get lots of the outside exercise that she loves.
